Sienna- The Freddy Krueger of Modeling

Sienna is a 4 year old spunky tom boy who has 14 inches of long black beautiful hair and a desire for Freddy Krueger and watching movies so scary my best friend would dash 100 miles per hour out from the room.  This little munchkin is the funnest 4 year old I have ever met. Her mother Rachel came to me looking to update her daughters portfolio. I of coarse said yes- then she said she was 4. Now- I had never worked with anyone under 14 for modeling. So i quickly put MY big girl panties on or as Sienna would say "Chones" (Spanish slang for undies)  and dove into learning child Modeling Lingo. I was terrified this lil ball of fire was going to eat me and my modeling knowledge alive.... but to my surprise....she did better than most adult models. :) She took direction so well- I didn't even have to demonstrate. I said chin down... her chin went down. I said hip out... her hip popped out. I said go to profile... she caulked her head- haha- but I guarantee if she knew what the word "profile" meant- she'd be right there puffing that chest with her chin at a perfect 10 degree angle.  The first shoot was 3 hours long- we went downtown, had lots of outfit changes, ate cupcakes, claimed on trains, played with puppies, ate some chips, then later went to meet "Mini Mama"- the miniature horse. We hiked through muck and played in the river. Just all in a days work for Tyler lol.

Well for our second shoot we shot at "Style Bride Boutique & Design Studio"(where Rachel and I both work a few hours a week as Bridal Stylists) Rachel took advantage of our 100 Dollar Holiday SALE and asked her sister Yoyo to model with Sienna-

It was a beautiful gift to such an amazing Mom and Sister like Rachel. I secretly wish she was my sister too lol. This shoot was fast. Our goal was to finnish then get some McDonald's! YA! This time we focused on makeup and looks more.

But during this fun time hanging out with Sienna, Yoyo & Rachel playing dress up and listening to Lady Gaga. (Sienna's other idol- Personally I vote for Lady G VS Freddy-- i think she'd win. Shes much more Brilliant) I realized how much i LOVE to create.
This Image below reminded me why I do what i do and how i fall more in love with creating this magical, pretend world of photography.... its for this...

A Vintage, Old Hollywood  lets play........inspired photo.... this to me... is the LOVE for what i do.

1st Post & Wanda & G4 Automotive Calendar

Well, just like every "New" Blogger... this is my first attempt to make the world fall in love with my thoughts. Or maybe just to see what this is going to look like once its posted. Either way- Im enjoying typing and attempting to make a one of a kind, first time, non rhymed... Blog :)

This morning we had our last series of photos for the Wanda Finnish Paint and G4 Automotive Car calendar. The first shoot was at the PCC Campus- it was a great turn out and we had the privilege to work with the "Wanda" model- all the way from up North. Today we got to work with some beautiful speciality cars, thankfully we were able to finnish up the Calendar Pics today with this beautiful November sun.
Ill Let you know when the calendars out- You buy... Ill sign-
